The 61-year-old will be joining the line-up of 14 other celebrities hoping to win the glitterball trophy in December. Prior to appearing on the show, the DIY SOS presenter has opened up about his weight loss journey, revealing he was β€œknackered” after shedding an impressive 12 kilos – or 26 pounds. He also described training for the show as one of the β€œtoughest” things he’s ever had to do.

He revealed that he had been struggling with fatigue, brain fog, and shortness of breath for months. He described the experience as “a nightmare” and “a real struggle.” He also mentioned that he had to cancel several events and training sessions due to his illness.
